What changed my life: Not sure why the people talking didn’t see me and the fact is they might not have been talking about me. This was what I heard:
“Sad she doesn’t smile more, she lights up the room when she does.”
“I so agree.”
At that stage in my life I always tried not to smile. I had and have an overbite, a fairly big one, so I tried to hide it. Back then with the ego-centrism of a teen, I assumed I was the topic of conversation. Lucky me, for I took it to heart and smiled freely thereafter.
EMOTIONAL FITNESS TIPS about smiling
To make a difference, a smile has to be genuine. With a bit of practice your smiles can always be genuine. It all depends on where you put your thoughts. Thought control is key in developing your emotional intelligence.
